What a wonderful turnout we had tonight for our February meeting. Tonight we tried our hand at decoupage. Our lovely committee member Clare guided us through the world of paper and glue to create beautiful heart trinket boxes for our ‘share the love’ month. Whilst we won’t be sending the boxes to our MP we did invoke the spirit of the campaign in support of people and our planet. The skills we used this evening could be used in up cycling projects in the future and we spoke about the support the group can offer not only in meetings but to support each other outside of he meetings should a member want to reach out.
We also held a share the love themed bake off won by Kate Reader with her sugar free banana loaf. Thank you to all those who turned up and a big thanks to Clare. Here are a few pics of the finished articles.
