Coffee & Cake – Our April Fundraiser at the Unitarian Church

On Saturday 18th April we gathered at the Mansfield Unitarian Church, Old Meeting House, for another one of our much‑loved WI coffee mornings - and as always, it was wonderfully well attended. The room was full of friendly faces, plenty of chatter, and that lovely community buzz we’ve come to expect.

The event was busy from the moment we opened, and the cakes… well, they barely touched the table before being snapped up. We had lots of enthusiastic customers, lots of compliments about the bakes, and more than a few people going back for “just one more”.

It was such an enjoyable morning, meeting new people, catching up with regulars, and sharing plenty of laughs. A huge thank you to everyone who baked, helped, or simply popped in to support us — you’re the reason these events feel so special.

And the best bit? We raised an amazing £92.90. A brilliant total for a brilliant morning.
