May's meeting was both informative and fun. Selina highlighted the proposed WI resolution for 2023 – 2024: Clean rivers for people and wildlife, and following a lively discussion the motion was agreed by our members.
This was followed swiftly by Coronation themed fun. Members undertook a crafty team challenge. Teams had 30 minutes to produce an alternative crown (or tiara) worthy of the King in his Coronation year. The resulting tiaras and crowns were most certainly coronation ready. Teams were spurred on by sampling an array of delicious cakes made by various members.
